Welcome to Streams of Whiskey!

I am going, I am going, any which way the wind may be blowing,
I am going, I am going, where streams of whiskey are flowing.

July and August

Done at the end of July, a couple of my favourite mystery stars envisioned as cats. My pre-paint sketch turned out much better so I'm not thrilled with the end result here. But we have Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot, Sherlock Holmes, and Father Brown, plus a little magnifying glass on the pinky.

At the beginning of August it was also time for another season of football, so some new FC Bayern nails were done. Unlike the 'cat-ectives', I did do both hands for the Bayern nails but also attempted to dye my hair with red streaks and the other hand turned really pink.

Kitty Cat Nails

I was sent a picture of someones nails that had little cats on the bottom and decided to try it out with my own cat. Just did her on the thumbs and pawprints on the fingers. Used a dotting tool for the paw prints which gave a nicer circle than eyeballing it and kept the polish from getting too thick.

Sailor Moon

As per the last suggestion given to me, a throwback to my childhood (even though I intend to re-watch the series), Sailor Moon nails.

On the right hand the inner scouts. Sailor Moon on the thumb; Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter on the fingers. I think Mercury turned out the best. On the left hand the outer scouts and Tuxedo Mask; Sailors Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto. As per usual they did not turn out quite as nicely as my right hand.
Finally, because it seemed a shame to forget the cats, I have Luna and Artemis peeking out over my toes.

Purple

The riot nails quickly passed from 'keeping up with recent events' to 'yesterday's news'. In the week or so before Canada Day I occupied the interim with somewhat basic nails. The base was "Cloud" by Revlon. The tips were done in a purple sparkle. This is the retirement design for that particular shade as the polish has reached the end of its usable life. On the seam between the tip and the main colour I did a band of silver with some purple dots that matched the tip colour. While taking photos of these the cat wanted to play so I incorporated her in one photo and she walked in front of the camera for the other.
