Welcome to Streams of Whiskey!

I am going, I am going, any which way the wind may be blowing,
I am going, I am going, where streams of whiskey are flowing.

Misty Morning, Fabric Paint

At one point, I thought fashion design would be a thing I should do. I only made it through half the program before I switched to History. An enduring legacy though, was the surface design class. Most often it was for shirts for my dad for the holidays. More recently, with a bit too much time on my hands, I've been doing a bit more painting and started to document my work.
I think this may have been the first one I did with a stencil. Either that or a Liverpool shirt (photo not provided). But most likely this one. Partially done for the Euro coming up this June, though on game days I think it's always going to be the jersey. The back was the only part I'd really thought of when I began. I did hexagons (if that's the right term) because I wanted a resemblance to a goal net and did the colours of the German flag. On the front I repeated the colour scheme with the years of World Cup wins and Euro wins (hopefully more dates to be added soon!). The bottom was a bit dull so I added the eagle.

I had a few men's shirts laying around that were the wrong size for my father but the right size for a couple of the guys around. For the New Jersey fan a white silhouette of Brodeur and the Devils logo.

This was a request more than anything, based off an old Newfoundland poster (google "In Cod We Trust(ed)" and the original will come up in images). I think it turned out rather well.

I became/am a bit focused on this design after the Devils shirt and decided that I needed a Carey Price one, so that's how this one came about.

Vancouver Whitecaps signed a new player, Bonjour. While watching him in their home opener against the Montreal Impact, I came to the realization that I needed his name on my shirt. In large part because the name of my first dog was Bonjour. On the front was just a little Whitecaps crest in the usual location.

I had an extra red shirt laying around and figured I can never have too many Bayern München things. On the back, just the team name. The front in part of the Bavaria crest. The centre shield was modified to only include the blue and white, the original is rather more complex. It took quite a while to hand paint those lions and I hadn't the motivation to be completely true to the original. The 4 stars on the top are for 4 Champion's League wins in the club's history.
