While sitting at the Duke one evening for some football/hockey, this idea was proposed to me. So here is a representative sample of some Newfoundland beers. On the left hand: Black Horse, Blue Star, Storm's Irish Red, and Yellowbelly's St. John's Stout. On the right: India, Quidi Vidi's Honey Brown, Jockey Club, and Dominion Ale.
